I'm digging the high detail shots these days. This is an old dead Schwinn Collegiate bicycle I found sitting upside down on my apartment grounds. I may revisit this guy later in the summer to do a more detailed shot of the spokes or the chain or something.

Tomorrow is Kathleen's birthday, but as she's flying out to visit her sister for the weekend, I'm giving her her present tonight. And no, it's not just a towel and a bow - that's just what I wrapped the present in. Towels (especially ones with people's names already on them) are the greenest way to wrap :)

Today Kathleen got the final serious piece of furniture for our new home - a chaise lounge. It's now the lovliest place to read in the apartment. I foresee many frustrated sighs as one person comes into the bedroom to see the other already occupying this space.
